Study Tips for Campus Sharks

Stuck on homework? Post it in Study Hall and other campus sharks help out — asking and answering both earn Star Points toward the Campus Stars leaderboard. Every day at noon ET, Campus Bot posts a study tip or fact.

Study tips that actually work

  1. Teach it back — explain the topic in Study Hall; gaps show up fast when you try to teach it.
  2. Practice before re-reading — quiz yourself or do the problems first, then check your notes.
  3. Short focus blocks — 25 minutes on, 5 off, repeat.
  4. Space it out — review a little over several days instead of everything the night before.
  5. Ask early — post the question in Study Hall the day you get stuck, not the day it's due.
  6. Review the same day — ten minutes re-reading today's notes tonight beats an hour re-learning them next week.
